misscamAm sick. Nastly evil Norwegian autumn cold has me in its grip. Hates it, we does. Hatessssss.
In various news:
The man first arrested for the murder of Anna Lindh has been released and a new man has been arrested. Thankfully, this elimenates any neo-Nazi involvement. Am kinda relieved, but also kinda sad, as the new suspect is someone who apparently has a history of mental problems. This not good.
Heard Bush's speech to the UN. So not impressed.
Statoil, the Norwegian oil company, is involved in dodgy dealings relating to contracts in Iran. So not impressed with them either.
MsA and the Tinhats are *insane*. Oh, wait. That's not news.
Various people in BBC News needs a good kicking. Their behaviour in the David Kelly affair is a disgrace (although they're not alone in that, it is still not good)
My cat is also sick, and therefore spent 16 hours straight snoozing in my bed. Aw. Except that he took half the bed, and my I got a backache from having to sleep in the limited space on offer.
Babylon 5 season 3 out on DVD here in Norway. Me wants. Luckily, getting paid in a week or so.
Had a very weird dream involving Gimli and Legolas trying to get to the US, but due to new security measures, having to stay in Canada a week first. Ooookay. Also appearing in it was Hugo Weaving, for some reason. And Thalia. Very odd.
Found lots of old stuff I own in the attic. Yay, childhood and teenage memories!
Just realised recently that my LJ friends list has both very anti-RPS people and very happy RPS writers. Interesting...

Date: 2004-01-18 07:58 pm (UTC)One: My friend and I had to lead the Fellowship through a warehouse (???) infested with Orcs. They were so grateful, the hobbits all hugged me and then everyone who was tall enough kissed me on the forehead. Yay.
Two: I, in my full fanfiction.net glory, appeared and taught the Fellowship Kum Ba Yah.
Three: (I actually do Irish Dance...) I was giving a performance in Lothlorien of Irish Dancing, and I realized it was Riverdance and Legolas was playing Michael my-ego-is-too-big-to-fit-in-the-theatre. (In-joke among my Irish class...) Hot Elf, flowy shirt, tight pants, great dancing...drool. Even though nothing actually happened, it was still a cool dream.
