When CSI airs an episode with a ship scene in it, how do you think fandom reacts?

With sanity? With moderate sanity and a few flying off the handle? With moderate batshittery? With oh-gods-the-mods-have-died-unmoderated batshittery? By getting drunk? Or just ARGH WORMS IN THE BRAIN FROM READING GET ME ALCOHOL

Is there any chance for Gil and Cath to have a romantic relation ship or i'm I just dreaming.
I dont want Gil and Sara it's to wierd they don't see to be the right couple there to much alike I want him to be with Cath and I'll stick with it for ever.

I SEE LESBIANS:
I don't mean to offend anyone (really I don't! and like I've stated here before I know it's not politcally correct and many are uncomfortable talking about it directly, but I just don't think Jorja is believable playing a heterosexual woman.
Like I've stated here before, I don't think that all gay/lesbian (or rumored to be) actors are not believable in straight roles. To me though and this is just MY OPINION, I have never/can never believe that Jorja/Sara would be in a romantic relationship with a manly heterosexual guy like Billy/Grissom.

GSR is just all about the taudry sex:
I thought he shaving scene was stupid and pointless it served no purpose and did not advance any plot .  It was just more pandering to a low level audience who cares more about cheap taudry sex that the real purpose of the show.  folks who want this crap should go to GA or any of the day time  soaps. Garbage like this is ruining the show and it is showing in the ratings.   time to move on   let Grissom get over his mid life crisis and get back to being an ethical scientist!

the fact that he has given up on the principle of being ethical to be with someone,  takes away his potence. His strenght comes from his ability to do the right thing and getting involved with a person who works for you shows a lack of morals and integrity.   for Grissom losing those is to lose all

Gil would totally not do what Billy did:
Ah, Billy, how could you have fallen so low? You've landed in the land of cheeze and there are no ladders out. You, who have nearly destroyed my tv with movie love scene flash fires, allowing your character to have this sad, tacked-on, chemistryless relationsh*t. Gil, who was intelligent, independent, fun and serious, sexy and controlled, and so much more, is gone having been replaced by a wuss in some sort of symbiotic relationship with a person more suited to be a sister than a love interest. When you read this shaving scene didn't you think "WTF? Gil would never allow this." At least I have folks on this forum that will warn me that if I need some cheese for my pizza all I have to do is place a dish in front of the tv and wait for your love(less) scene. I could feed the nation on piles up.

People, can we just chill out insted of having pops at each other over fictional charactors?! Yeah, I love my ship (Purejoy btw lol) etc but at the end of the day thats what they are, fictional. Theres too much hate for Sara/Jorja from people who don't particularly like her or her with Grissom. What concerns me the most is that some people actually seem to hate Jorja, it crosses over into actually hating a real life person, which is so childish IMO. Now, i'm not a GSR fan in any way shape or form but still, let's just chill with the hatin' peeps. Theres my two cents lol! I don't mean to offend anyone just trying to bring a bit of peace! :)

Catherine is not an annoying sibling for Grissom she is the best thing that ever happened to him. From the looks of it Sara is an annoying human being and should be fired from that show she only brings turmoil and hate to the other CSI'S. Eckley should have fired Sara in "nesting dolls" and I quote from Eckley
"She's a loose canon with a gun and she's all yours"
Probably the only right and honest thing Eckley said and I totally agree with him.

Hey CSI producers please stop the Grissom and Sara romance before you fall out of the top 10 ratings for good. Don't you see that millions of viewers cried out last year during those final two minutes of season six. I could not you could totally betray the character of Gil Grissom he would never have an affair with a SUBORDINATE he would never allow the reputation of his beloved lab for a role in the hay with Sara.
Everytime a scene with them comes on I switch to Grey's annatomny, because it makes me physcially sick to watch them(...)
There are millions of people who think this romance is wrong, the only thing I was trying to say is that they are no longer the number one show since they lost a lot of viewers who disagree with this romance.

It seems like some of the GSR fans though don't even like the fact that us G/C shippers can still live in a fantasy world. Its their way or no way.

I know there are sane GSR shippers out there, just as there are sane G/C shippers. They're just hard to find.

I think the whole of fandom is a bit poisoned by now, really. Really, really anti-GSR people get into such a crusade about it that GSR fans get very loud about it, and GSR fans get so very loud about it that anti-GSR people feel like crusading. And so it goes on. People can be lovely and sane and everything, but you do get affected by what goes on around, you know?
