Sorry, vagueness abounds with me at the moment. I know what he's been doing all these years, I meant that I'd seen he planned to do so at the Virginia tech funerals.
The mention of his name always makes me feel thoroughly disgusted, but at the time when I first saw this particular thing I'd just sat with a friend watching the news reports on it so the whole thing was making me feel incredibly unnerved and unpleasant. This just added to it.

He's been going after gay folk in the US for eons, and regularly picketed their funerals. But no one with power paid him any attention until he started protesting at the funerals of military soliders. (He thinks that "don't ask, don't tell" is a policy that is gay-positive).
