elves in black leather - Ah, this is from my Official Fanfiction University of Middle-earth fanfic, which... Well, was kinda insane. But anyway, in it Elrond started the Elves in Black Leather, a sort of "Men in Black" organisation. It became a bit of a hit. There's even fanart.

robin hobb - Author of The Farseer Triology, which I rather liked and to date the only author who has made my brother cry. Awww.

hating mushed ship names - I believe this one was officially launched when someone named the Doctor/Rose ship as "Drose". But I've hated mushed ship names for a long time - CSI fandom is full of them. This was just the final straw. BURN THEM WITH FIRE.

- This is an icon I got from fandom_wank. Not sure exactly where the phrase "batshit insane/crazy" came from, but I use it a lot. And I also remember that old Batman intro theme that the icon "uses", so double win.

- Oh man, long story. The short of it is that there was a chick who wrote Doctor Who fanfics I found rather bad. (Like, really bad.) At one point, someone critizised her stories in her guestbook and her friends accused that person of being me. And the next one and the next. Neither were me. There was much LOL. From this a few icons with "We're all misscam" and this one was born.

- I picked up reading badfic as a habit when writing OFUM (research, you know) and I've never quitted it. It's like a drug. Help.
