I have several new people on my flist this week, so... Hi! Feel free to jump in whenever - this is an open sort of LJ. And this is a random sort of entry filled with loads of stuff I meant to post during the weekend. (LJ hated me. It was a bit of a meanie this weekend, wasn't it? Some stuff wouldn't - had troubles with comments too. Hmm. )

Every day I'll ask two random questions. All you have to do is answer them.

1. If you could arrange for yourself to have been born with one talent you don't have now, which would it be? (Like have a great singing voice, be able to compose like Beethoven, could rival the masters at art, be marvelous actor etc etc.)

My answers:
1. I wish I could draw and had a more graphically-competent brain.
2. KILL IT WITH NAPALM.

Are there anyone else on my flist not that excited about Jack's return to Doctor Who? Because I'm feeling sort of alone in the universe there. Sniff. (I already feel alone about my vaguely fancying One. Oh, shut up. Awesomeness outweights age, that's why Sean Connory is still yum.)

Wish I could get more excited about writing again. Eh well, it comes and goes.

I see a few people on my flist has already mentioned this, but in case you've missed it - witness the London Olympic logo. Er. Yeah.

Oh, Denmark. I watched that game. It was utterly awesome up until that. The best of football, the worst of football. (Wikipedia already has an entry on it here. Figures.)

I'm excited about Jack because I want to see Jack and Ten. I'm waiting for their interaction, because it has the possibility to send me into spasms of glee. And that, my dear, is fun.

I am not entirely sure how I feel about Jack's return. I want him to come back as the funny sexy conman, but that's not likely is it :(. I used to like him, but then I watched Torchwood, and well, the joy-it is gone.

I kept switching between Denmark/Norway games, and missed everything that really happened in both matches. ... I'm still cheering for Switzerland. At least they're qualified for the games.

Nothing really happened in the Norway-Malta game. We scored a bit, but it was largly blah. Denmark broke my heart. Wah.

*lol* Oh, the wankery is only just warming up where the Olympics logo is concerned. I posted about it yesterday, including the poll on the BBC where a few thousand people out of the options to give it a gold, silver, bronze or wooden spoon chose the latter. *snigger* Did you see the video with Seb Coe bleating on about how it isn't a logo but a 'state of mind'? O_o

Oh, and even if you aren't excited about Jack (you strange, strange woman, you) then you HAVE to have enjoyed the awesome two-parter with the Family of Blood since it rocked so very much. And the end of the series, if the rumours are true, should be fantabulous also. We live in hope (and on the edge of our seat, precious).

Oh, and in answer to your questions:
1. Like you, I wish I was more artistic. I am to a very basic level, but not properly so. It's most frustrating.
