Oh, I do know. I was bullied at work by a senior male colleague (who eventually became my boss) for sixteen years, more or less, and finally got out of that situation a little over three years ago. Now have a new job which I love and with people who aren't like that at all. Yet I still find myself a nervous, quivering wreck if I feel I'm being criticised, which is all baggage from my past. You think you have got thy shit together and all is well with the world, then something happens - it might not be a big or obvious thing but it is enough to emotionally trip you up a little.
