Norwegians want Halloween banned?

Ah, Norway. You never fail to crack me up.

Also, on the great Victor Norman scandal, which utterly cracks me up every time I hear about it now. See, I was listening to this radio show where they were discussing his borrowing of a piano that belong to the state and someone started talking about 'the piano dimension' of the Victor Norman case.

The piano dimension. The mental image is just cracking me up. In the same radio show, they were also talking about Clinton's visit here and the difference between him and Bush and why we like Clinton and hate Bush. One of the participants talked said that with Clinton in power, the neo-cons, 'these foul creatures straight out of Lord of the Rings' would certainly not be in the White House. The other guy debating then started referring to the neo-cons as 'orc-like creatures'. And this in a serious current affair show.

Obviously, Norway has overdosed just a wee bit on Lord of the Rings.

But it's all good.

Well, at least I'm amused.

Well, at least they have slightly more intelligent reasons for wanting it controlled than some countries -- and the fundie nuts here. I'd be pretty damn annoyed if the brats in costume banged on my door on Oct. 30th or Nov. 1st. "What, do you have a really hard time finding the prize at the bottom of your Frosted Flakes, too? Go away!" (Sound of door slamming shut, hard)
