I cannot believe the wife didn't know. I can't believe it's possible that she didn't know. Her daughter was imprisoned in the basement for 24 years and she didn't know? Fuck that. That poor woman gave birth to seven children in that basement and her mother didn't know? A likely story.

This whole thing makes me sick. How could anyone do that to another person, let alone a father do it to his daughter? It's just despicable.

Unaware my ass. I haven't been in my basement in years but I think I'd know if somebody were living down there. Not to mention the water and electricity bills would get pretty high all of the sudden and stay high for years.
