misscamWhen we last headed off, my guild was about to start exciting adventures in Black Temple, the hardest raid instance until recently. But first, a peek at Naxxaramas, the old king of instances...
Patchwerk is smaller than I thought he was, but still a big, nasty undead who deserves to die painfully. As he did.
This is a big dog that eats zombies. Don't ask.
Fighting the undead. Lots and lots of slime in Naxx. Nasty. Lots and lots of beer during raid. Funny.
If you played Warcraft3, you'll recognise that bug. At level 70, he's easy and squishy.
Black Temple! First boss is a big, big naga with a spine problem.
We took care of that for him. He can drop a polearm I really want, but have't seen it yet. Woe. Not the hardest fight - he throws his spine at people and you have to loot it to use against a shield he uses to be immune to damage. Healing fight, really, as everyone takes a lot of damage.
Supremus is big. Like whoa. He also summons volcanos and likes to chase you verrah verrah slowly. More annoying fight than anything, as the volcanos can be a pain when popping up underneath you.
About to die, yay! One of our earlier goes, as most of the raid is dead. Last go, we hardly had any die. Practice makes perfected.
And here's his mountain of a corpse. Should give you some idea how big he is.
From his courtyard you also get a nice view of the planet of Azeroth.
I'm tanking some flying add. Pretty dragons.
This is Akama. He's Illidan's ally. Except he's really not, and we're about to help him kill his shade to free him from serving Illidan. ... Don't ask, really.
Fighting the shade - the whole trick to this fighting is killing some stupid adds really fast, then kill the shade even faster before the shade kills Akama.
After you've done this, Akama is very happy with you. Then you just have to kill Illidan for him. Er, yes. I'll get right on that...
HAI TERON GOREFIEND! Last I saw this dude, he tricked me into resurrecting him from the dead in Shadowmoon Valley. Bastard!
Revenge! Teron is actually an orc spirit in an undead human body. ... Yeah, don't ask!
Teron's little trick is to turn people into ghosts while spawning some adds only the ghost can kill at the same time. So if you don't kill the adds when you're the ghost, you kill all your friends and wipe the raid. No pressure! Here we've killed Teron, but Ahbo is still a ghost. Heh.
So, current progress, 4/9 Black Temple bosses down. Wow.
Now my football beckons - May 16th matches in Norway. Big deal, yesh. And tomorrow, it's our national day...
