Wanted: Icon and graphic artist to cater to Cam's every whim over a period of time.

Reward: PayPal cash. (Or other payment options.) No 'but I'll do it for free!' protests are acceptable. Cam will pay you. Not up for discussion. The fee is.

Required: High skill at icons, banners and graphics. Some shared interest in Cam's fannish joys can be benefitial, but not a must.

Seriously, I have loads of wonderful friends who have made icons and graphics for me over the years totally out of the kindness of their hearts and I adore them even more for it. But I want someone I can just send a graphic to whenever I want something and be all 'make me an icon of this so and so' and not feel guilty. Since I am currently well-off and these little fannish things pleases me, I've decided to pay for pleasure and lack of guilt.

So there. It ain't negotiable :P

Seriously though, I would appreciate the challenge of "here's a picture, now do this to it.", because it helps one grow in the graphics world.

Well... if you think I'm up to standard I can help :) I made most of my LJ icons over here, too... if you take a look and tell me if/what you want and when, I can do. And I won't protest, even though I'm inclined to, bc I always need more funds, especially since I just bought the FedCon BSG panels DVD.

Hmm-hmm.

Well, depends a bit - how are you with sharper filters on photoshop (or whatever you use)? Because I have a tendecy to like quite sharpened colours on icons and so on, if that makes sense. If you skim my pick of icons you get an idea what I like.

Currently, I want Hub icons. There's been some posted, but none that appeal to me. I don't want hearts on them, I want them sharp and at least one with lines from their reunion.

I also want a banner for my Adama/Roslin fanfic, some WoW icons (for those, I will supply screencaps) and various other stuff that I'll get to.

Given the dollar is so low, I'd easily pay 50-100 USD, but I can adjust up.

What do you think?

I can do sharpening. *nods* I don't tend to it as a matter of personal choice, but I can do it-- there are some icons in this lot that use it. Colours, I'm working on getting better at - I'm always working on improvement, and assigned work will only help :) (how's this one for sharp colours?)

*nods* I'm making Hub icons. Not so good at text, but I'll see what I can do.

Did you want individual banners for each fic or a header for a post with all of it?

I think... that's a little more than I was actually expecting you to say, but absolutely fine, if you're sure the stuff I do is what you want. :) (If you have any adjustments you want me to make after I give you things, let me know. I have far too much free time so I don't have a problem with changing things you might want fixed.)

Well, it seems I am getting icons from above *points*. But I'd totally love you to do banners, and I'd pay for that as well. (Of course.) As I said, the US dollar is really, really low against the Norwegian krone at the moment, so it's not that much for me.

I want one general head with "Fanfiction by Camilla Sandman" for my A/R stuff. Individual story banners... Hmm, that would be imba. I had a very nice banner for my CSI fic with quotes from various stories on, I remember.

*thinks* Really, I could use some new banners for various LJ stuff in general.

Be nice if you could find a font to match this banner, which is my general one. I tend to like handwritten ones, actually. Makes me feel more writery, or something.

I don't think I have that one specifically, but I'll see what I can do! :D I love handwriting fonts, so I have a lot of them (even one I made from my own handwriting, actually).

I can offer my services, though I'm not as spectacular, I'm sure, as a lot of the people here. Personally, I think I'm pretty good, but I suppose it's all a matter of opinion. :) I tend towards relatively simple graphics, nothing too busy. I will leave some of my icons below (I haven't uploaded any banners for a while, and they're on a different computer).
