Tonight, the Doctor Who finale airs.

And I have to mod time_and_chips through it, with fellow victimsmods gabesaunt and lotus79.

I'M SCARED. HOLD ME. MY SANITY IS TOO YOUNG TO DIE. It's a silly brain I have, but I am kind of attached to it. I have fear. FEAR I HAVE.

But you can help! Post sane things I like, such as cats, Adama/Roslin stuff, funny fandom secrets, YouTube gold, just stuff you know I like. HELP MAH BRAIN. I have a feeling I'll need it. Stop me if I start eyeing forks, yeah?

Also, wankshelter is open and I'll be offering alcohol for all as long as my sanity holds. I have also stocked up on local strawberries, fresh apple cake and fizzy drinks. I'm as ready as I can be.

It's not so much bravery as having no choice - mods can hardly abandon comm just like that. Oh well.

See, I've seen the original BSG and was a bit wary of this new version, but it's really won me over. Season one has some really brilliant episode - worth a look, I'd say.

This is why I said time_and_chips is lucky to have you. I've been in too many LJ comms over the years where mods vanish and/or jump ship at the first *hint* of wank.

I think my two main complaints were how they changed Tigh and Boomer, with a slight side helping of "what did they do to Starbuck?!" but that wasn't nearly as bad. I might see about getting my hands on the first season and see if my opinion improves, though.

Ah, like that. No, I've been around enough wank in other fandoms that I'm a bit used to it, and either way, I wouldn't bail out on Michelle and Saz. I mean, my fannish interest has definitely been claimed majorly by BSG at the moment, but modding is a commitment, and Doctor Who fandom has given me lots. I wouldn't just bail out. Be totally uncool of me.

Ah. Yeah, Boomer gets a bit of a rough deal, but some of what they do with Cylon model is quite interesting. Tigh gets to be awesome as it goes along. He really grew on me. Starbuck too, even if her relationship stuff doesnt interest me at all.

You do have to put aside the original a bit. But one of the original cast shows up and is a regular. It's fairly awesome.
