- A Church of England clergyman suggests in a blog that "Let us make it obligatory for homosexuals to have their backsides tattooed with the slogan SODOMY CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH and their chins with FELLATIO KILLS."

... Yeah. I could make a suggestion he gets 'IDIOCY KILLS BRAINCELLS. DON'T DO IT' tattooed on his back, but really, who needs ink for such an obvious truth?

- Watched season one Dexter in a bit of a marathon and yes, I think I am a bit in love with it. Must watch season two. But also want to watch all seasons of Hustle, which looks proper awesome and fun. Hmm. Choices, choices.

- dw_historical are having a Doctor Who Historical Fic-Fest for those interested in writing with a historical focus.

- This secret hating on Adama/Roslin makes me a bit sad. Ew? Then again, tastes vary and disagreements over ship frequently get silly. (HAI, CSI fandom.) Even your BFFs don't always share your preferences.

- Also, sharing a ship doesn't mean two people agree on everything about it or outside it. FYI.

- Had a weird dream involving meeting EJO with trialia and then exposing someone smuggling Icelandic people into the US. Yeah, I don't know either.

- Want to write again, but not feeling urged to. Hmm. Maybe I should try remixing or co-writing? Anyone want to smack me and tell me to write or something? (Only lines I've written in a month was on a human!Ten/Rose, Ten/Sarah Jane thing I don't even know where came from.)

I'm so ready for American election to be over already. Anyone else?

I am SO glad that the last debate I have to run here at the station will happen on Wednesday - Obama and McCain - and then I can get back to just having to do battle with our servers and playlists. At least until November 4th. Going to vote early this year, the 4th is gonna be nuts, and that's just here at work, not even counting at the polls.

Anyone want to smack me and tell me to write or something?

Just for some fun crack I could tell you to write K-9 meeting Data and comparing notes on the Doctor and Picard, or the Master and Q, but I don't know if you want to go that cracky. :)

Wow @ AR haters. That pic's pretty strong. I'm known to not follow certain ships (even canon ones lol), but I don't think any have made me quite that vocal. I even respect the Adama/Tigh shippers and slash has never really been my cup of tea.

Stupid priest, btw. Should we have 'pedophile' tattooed on every clergyman's forehead, too?

And ditto on the US election. The thing feels like it's gone on foreeeeeever.

Ahem. Anyway. If you're ready for the American election to be over, have pity on us Americans, who will hear about nothing else on the news for a whole 'nother month. I can't imagine anyone truly hasn't made up their mind by now, but still we have to slog through till November 4th.

And I don't even get the Adama/Roslin secret: if she's sincere in the relationship, the writers think of her as Mom? Can't they just be two adults having a relationship? Adama and Roslin are the only thing I'm still clinging to on BSG as a ray of hope.

I'm totally not getting their argument on the A/R ship. If she ends up with Adama, does that make her a mom? Of course, I completely disagree. But like the others here I've never hated on a ship really. I find looking at all the different ships fun. I mean I've watched vids for Roslin paired with Starbuck, Zarek, Janeway... :) My OTP is A/R but I can enjoy other ships as well. Granted, if A/R had ended up not benig canon I would've been heartbroken. But I have plenty of ships in other fandoms I loved that never even became canon and I could still see the reasons for the ships that did. Well, usually. People get riled up about different things I suppose. *shrugs*

Oh, and I'm so ready for the American election to be over. I am started to feel like slitting my wrists every time I hear about it.

My guild doesn't usually run Mount Hyjal as we are on the smaller side and not a hardcore raiding guild. We usually do Kara once or twice a week, ZA on Fridays and Mags/Gruul on Sundays. This past Sunday, we had Mags down to 2% and nearly had a full wipe. Only one tank and one healer left and the tank managed to finish the fight solo. Very impressive!

Are you excited about the patch today? I've been counting down the hours myself.

Yes, I'm quite ready for the election to be over myself. Ready for my candidate to win this thing so McCain/Palin can GTFO and go marinate in their own fail sauce. I'm so sick of them both and so ready for a positive change.
