In case of deletion, here's what it said: ok, so here we are ...
Simple simple simple ... If the military had been in charge from the git-go none of this would have happened. More important, if Adama had the guts to frag (i.e. kill) roslin in season one definitely none of this would have happened. Civilian government in a situation like that? What were the writters thinking; Except maybe to show us how stupid civilian governments can be in a life or death situation.
Weakness. This is the key. Adama has been showing weakness ever since Roslin started tangling him in her fake hair tenticles like a bloody Medusa. Cant wait till she is dead, really cant. She allowed Zarek to live, when a nice little accident would so have taken care of him. Gaeta should have been flushed out the airlock in Season 3, too bad Starbuck missed and only took out a leg.
Nice to see Starbuck finally find her balls. Gods I love that woman. The only one in the entire fleet with a pair.
Lee still needs to grow a pair though.
NONE of this would have happened under Kane ....
So ... now Adama will have to take back the galactica, have to run it with a way reduced crew, unless he chickens out. I will remember his words on the bridge, his words of no forgiveness. lets see if he finally gets his pair back or if Roslin will still be playing marbles with them. But knowing these writters ... Roslin will be the bloody hero. Another point for the goody goodies that enact policies that lead to mutinies.
How would I salvage all of this? (after all the mutineers are flushed into space .... Zarec first ... Gaeta last; Just so he can anguish over every death :)
1- invade the cylon basestar, kill all cylons on it.
2- re-wire the cylon raiders to not shoot colonial ships
3- Use the basestar to conduct raids on other cylons
4- Force all Colonial ships to upgrade. They dont want to? Fine ...get left behind you whiney frakkers.
5- Find a new home ...
6- Use the galactica and cylon baseship on a final mission ... Along with a number of ships pretend you are still hunting for a new home and lead Cavil's cylons away from new home.
7- In 200 to 300 years, once the colonists have built enough battlestars (with cylon tech) armed it with raider like suicide ships as well as vipers .... go back and wipe out every bleedin cylon in the universe.
Again .... it is all Roslin's fault. Never put a bloody school teacher in charge of anything...

Hey, Laura Roslin makes me proud to be a school teacher. Obviously this person has never tried to manage a rowdy classroom... :P
Sadly, Roslin would have you for breakfast in any debate and then go sex up the Admiral for lunch.
