Life, BSG and Titanic the animated musical w/a rapping dog

(Another day in the life of CamFamily - misscam and CamMum happen to be sharing a train to work, as sometimes happen.)
misscam: So, wedding next week, huh?
CamMum: (confused) Whaaa...? Whose?
misscam: Yours and dad's!
CamMum: Oh, right. I thought for a moment there I'd forgotten something.
misscam: Apparently, you had. Your own!

My parents, lol. Wedding next Wednesday, and I got time off from work that week. Finally. I'll have time to get out the summer clothes, fix my bike and write some fanfic. BSG-kind, naturally.

Another reason Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell rock my boat -Mary, in an interview post-finale, talks about filming the scene in the raptor: It was so much more difficult because what would happen is we'd be in the middle of a take and I'd feel Eddie's tears on my hand, which would make me start to cry. But I can't cry because I'm, you know, supposed to be dead. So we'd have to cut, dry everyone's eyes and try it again. In all, I think we had to film that scene seven times because it was so emotional. Awwwww.

Bear McCreary also posted his finale post, and it's long, informative and guess which scene really made him cry? Yeah. I'm so buying his double-CD when it comes. And where's my season 4.5 DVD with deleted scenes, extended stuff EJO and MM doing a commentary shut up I can dream, bloopers and lots of behind the scenes stuff? I am waiting.

Finally, I give you: Titanic (an animated musical) review - part one and part two. Because every blockbuster should have an animated musical rip-offversion. With a rapping dog, racially stereotyped mice, crying dalmations and some really stupid accents. It's like Disney met a trainwreck and added to the impact.

Never say I don't bring you some proper WTF.

Ah, yes, I'm definitely going to buy Bear's double-CD as well, man's a genius.

EJO would probably ramble on a good deal, but it would still be awesome. Want! They do say that 4.5 DVDs might be out this summer, so fingers crossed.

Yeah, whatever issues with finale plot and such, the music was awesome all the way through. Plus, Bear has been all awesome and interacting with fandom, so I like the dude.

I love Bear's blog. And he's a shipper! woot! I'm totally buying his cd's. Why haven't Eddie and Mary done a commentary yet? I would flail and squee if they did. Plus you know it would be funny and sweet and cute.

I love extras, so I'm hoping for a hell of a lot of extras.

Yeah, they must have gotten quite emotional since it was the last scene they would act together on BSG as well. They seem to have really enjoyed working together and all.

Because they're both busy people or they don't like doing commentaries? I dunno, but I'd sure love it if they made an exception for this last of BSG.

Me too! I own a lot of DVDs, and quite often specifically for the extras. I'm sad like that.

and that interview with Mary... yes... so sad... First it made me laugh, though- dead people don't cry... But now i am more sad about it than amused....

and "Eddie's tears"- so it was an effect or something, he was indeed crying..... :(

Yeah, he was in the vision in the Hub too. EJO always breaks my heart when he looks teary, so I can only imagine how Mary felt.

Considering how deeply emotional Mary is, this final scene must have been the hardest thing ever....

And sorry for the idiotic sentence about the vision. I meant that Eddie's tears were not a vissional effect of come kind... many actors use eye drops or something, but Mary says "Eddie's tears" which means that he was indeed crying, for real... :(
