Yeha, the dynamic between Caesar and Cleopatra just interests me more than between Antony and Cleopatra. Might be in part because Caesar himself interests me more than Antony, but it's not all that. I think it's also in part that Caesar and Cleopatra gets less focus and thus makes me wonder about it a bit more. Antony and her did get quite a destructive end, while what had happened if Caesar had lived, is open to pondering.
The propaganda Octavian spread at the time still heavily influences views on Cleopatra to this day, which does annoy me. Hmpf.
