In which we learn that jacking off on someone's face while they sleep is a-okay! and Cam learns she shouldn't read links when she's in a good mood.
Good mood caused by:
- Awesome May weather.
- Last night's FlashForward, in which the show continues better writing, Lloyd and Olivia are cute like cute things, Simon screws over Mark, Mark works on his kicked puppy look when disovering Lloyd and Olivia hanging out, Alex Kingston is awesome, Janis and Demetri should just take over the FBI already and run it through awesome, and the universe is a sneaky, evil bastard. That latter part, I can really believe.
- I (and five others) won a contest on Facebook arranged by Norwegian TV2 and I appropriately am getting a FlashForward t-shirt from them. Hah.
- Upcoming weekend.
- Lunch with dad, to many discussions of politics and the UK and the Magna Carta. Our conclusion was that the UK system was a fair bit bonkers. Then we had ice cream.
- Have had many amusing conversations about the UK election on Twitter.
- Have apple cake.
- Tromsø is still head of the football league. Ahahaha.
In which we further learn that LJ posts is the new plagiarism hip. Seriously, what the hell is even the point of that?
(Also, that Diana Gabaldon thing? 'Fanfic is dirty porn which my books aren't at all having, no-ope!' Oh-kay then!)
LJ is apparently buggering my comment notifications somewhat. Apologies if I fail to reply to something!
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
I was interviewed by
ishie.
1. If you could change one political opinion of an elected official, who and what would that be?
Man, that's a hard one. Here in Norway, I'd probably change the Prime Minister's mind and have the government look after the municipalities better. Norway's got a filthy rich state, yet many of our municipalities are pretty much poor. I think they could be given a boost or at very least some investment money to upgrade schools and other services.
2. What was it about Spock/Uhura that made you want to write fic for that pair?
I liked the contrast, yet similarities they offered. They're from different planets and cultures, but they're also bright, scientific people who like to master their crafts. They connect on many levels, but would struggle to bridge certain gaps at the same time. I like the contrast.
3. You've been named Queen of All Fandoms for a year. Which fandom would you decree we all participate in?
At this very moment, probably FlashForward. Mainly because the other fandoms I am in at the moment have lots of people I can share fannish glee with, but not that one.
4. If you could remake any movie, what would it be and why?
Oi. That is a tricky one. Hmm. Actually, the only one that comes to mind is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I know it's not out yet, and I haven't actually watched the animated series it's based on, but everything I've read about the casting has just infuriated me. Even if everything else about it is splendid, I'd still wish it remade for that reason alone.
5. Let's say you win a lottery and can afford to live anywhere in the world without having to work, but it can't be in Norway. Where would you go?
You'd have to pay me a lot of money to give up Norway for good. But if I had to live somewhere else, it would probably be Australia. I've lived there previously, I know people there, I like Aussies, I like the climate, I can mostly master the language... Yeah, Australia is most likely. The other option would be the UK, if I could marry a hot Brit.
In which we finally learn people can also be awesome. Just to end on a sort of good note.
