Feb. 3rd, 2004 02:45 amI believe the BBC did make a serious mistake with the David Kelly affair, but nevertheless, journalism will be poorer without the BBC. I bow to it.
And it seems trouble is stirring in the Kurdish parts of Iraq, and all I can think is 'ohshitohshiohshit'. The Kurdish reaction to the recent horrid attacks. It's particulary this quote that troubles me: "These attacks not only strengthen our demands for independence, they force us to make it a reality."
This is not good. Not good at all.

Date: 2004-02-02 06:04 pm (UTC)That is not just one country going "Oh No". The poor Kurds are spread across three different countries (Iran, Iraq and Turkey - but you knew that) and they have a tough time in all three.

One other thing:
