(Watching the news)

Pat Robertson: I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It's shaping up that way.

Mum: Bush must be less tuned in than his preacher, with him spending so much money on the presidental campaign.

Me: All his fury over gay marriages has blocked his reception, I fear.

Mum: So if Kerry wins, does that mean Robertson will become an athiest?

Me: (Sniggering) 'Kerry for the White House - Robertson for atheism 2004!'

Also, Viking kittens!

Kerry for 2004!

I'm sick of Bush. I'd vote for a sock at this point. Anything to get that cowboy-monkey out of office.

I don't know, what type of penguin are we talking about here? Yellow-eyed, rock-hopper, etc?

Just a generic penguin, I believe. He does, however, have a cute little red bow-tie. He also has which can be very very useful for killing off gits and educating fangirls.

Ooh, thank you! (bows) Most people seem afraid to comment on it.

After I got over the initial shock I found it amusing. Hehehe. I love the icon you've got up now, too. Did you make them yourself or borrow them from an icon community?

Grond I created and animated myself, from a screenshot kindly provided by iscaris. The wolf-eating bunny is from an unattributed graphic on a web page devoted to (of all things) the fine art of trolling a Usenet community, but then also animated.

I do occasionally use icons made by others, such as my "Feed me!" blue wolf icon from someone in the cerulean_ones community, and some LotR ones. (The were-hyena I sometimes use is from a graphic in a gaming supplement for Werewolf: the Apocalypse.) But I also have been indulging a newfound pleasure in making and offering them myself, with randomly generated Gimp graphics, dingbat fonts, and/or graphics I've collected from occasional one-month subscriptions to Clipart.com.

(Covers mouth) Sorry, I babble. :-)

*nods enthusiastically* I love making icons, too. Unfortunately, PhotoShop, as advanced as it is, has relatively nothing in the way of animation. It's got nothing for 100x100 pixelmanip...

And...I think I should stop commenting now, because this is Cam's LJ and I'm probably monopolising it ;)

No worries. I'm interested in icon making myself - not too good at it, but it's fun. Shame I can only hace three here, but oh well. Icon fun!

Hmm. When's your birthday? Wasn't it quite recently?

I have an odd obsession of giving people paid accounts as presents.

I mean...I didn't say anything o.o

:P:P

My birthday was on the 21st of February (same day as the King! Whee!), actually. So it's a long time till my next one... and then I'll be 25. Horror! That's almost an adult, that is. Ugh.

And yet they remind me of the kittens VH1 was using for awhile.

Joel Veitch and his Viking Kitties are God. Check out his monkeys who 'bought the wrong bananas'. It's so sad. I could cry. But I'm a little apathetic.

Oh, I loved viking kittens. I actually found them a long time ago, but that site is down now. Thanks for finding new location.
