Chapter five of Nocturne is up. Legolas tells Thranduil about Gimli and there is angsting.

Speaking of angst - Camilla has a cold. There is much woe and self-pity and sticking of tissues up the nose. She promises to return to her normal, angry-at-Bush-and-curious-about-the-world-while-ogling-hot-men self as soon as the germs bugger off.

Ah, Miss Bjam. Well, when we do chat, you strike me as a bit shy or possibly reserved. You angst now and then as teenagers do, but you do seem to have good sense in that mind of yours, which makes me be very hopeful for the young adult you will turn into. As for now, I do feel the age difference is a bit of a hinder for us to ever get really comfortable with each other.

Ah, one of my fellow survivors of a certain Queen. I do rather feel like we went through a war together and come together to compare battle scars.

That said, I wasn't always comfortable with everything you did during those days (nor with what I did, for that matter) and I feel sometimes you get too involved in an idea and don't let go. I also find you funny, capable of laughing at yourself and easy to talk to, even if we seem to have drifted a bit apart since the heydays of tiger growling.

You share one of my all-time highest sci-fi loves, but alas, the wrong pairing. But I forgive you anyway, because I like you. I'm not always that interested in your various LJ entries as I feel they don't relate to me and too much lyrics or poems tend to make me skim with haste. And I'm not too fond of your LJ colour. But you're nice and have yet to try to make me 'see the light' or in other ways bug me. even if we share different world views. Thus you're agreeably likable.

You're a rambler, for good and ill. It can be too much sometimes, but there is something good-natured about your ways. We haven't known each other that long, so I've yet to really fix an opinion of you, but it's generally a feeling of goodwill. I don't think we'll ever be the closest of friends, but we'd get along reasonably well.

I'm not horribly interested in a lot of my lj entries, either, but I always just figured it was good exercise (by the way, it's always been very hard for me to spell exercise correctly; just thought you should know how much effort I went to to include it spelled right).

I'm afraid I hideously tend to confuse you with other PPC people. But when my memory does not fail me, I tend to picture you with Bjam. You seem to angst over teenage troubles as she does and I do occasionally want to smack you lightly with a herring. But you can snark and you sometimes post Sarah McLachlan lyrics (my teenage companion), which occasionally makes me think of you as a young me.
