Well, you wouldn't have to pay them much, if at all. It'd probably be an idea to get some actual actors for the non-background roles, but fangirls could work for crowd scenes.

As for casting Depp as the twins - I'm not really sure. For some reason, I was trying to figure out if he could be wriggled into OFUM anywhere, and most of the characters in LoTR are Serious Frowny-Type Fantasy, rather than the quirky roles generally frequented by Mr D.

About the only other choice was the Headmaster, and he doesn't get a lot of screen time. Although, now I think about it, my brain is trying to tell me that there's another choice, one of the secondary characters, that I'm completely missing.

Of course, it's not telling me the NAME of said character. Stupid brain.
