Today I read Rimmer/Lister slash and found I liked it. Help me. I'm sick.

Yesterday I got insulted and let it go. I now have throttling-urges in my sleep. My life is just so gripping.

Well...I tried translating your name into Quenya (which, according to 2000-names (http://www.20000-names.com/), means 'servant for the temple'). But I'm terrible with declensions, so I got:

According to the translation engine I used, "pokker" translates to "damn." I'll believe you before I'll believe one of those programs, though.

Well, it can mean that too. "Bugger" has no real exact equivalant in Norwegain and I felt "pokker" was the best approximation. It's not among the foulest of Norwegian curses.

Well, according to this Elvish name datebase, Camilla means either "helpful" or "a faithful servant who performs sacrifices" (sounds rather like Occultism to me :D) and can be translated into Sindarin as Tuluwen ("helpful maiden") or Sadron ("faithful one") and into Quenya as Hyamme ("she who prays"). Don't you just love the fact that there are other people out there who have actually been thinking about things like this? :)

And do care for those poor little F/É plotbunnies. Nuzgûl need love, too.

Sadly, I can think of no real way to R'dyelindize "Cam." "Camilla" would become "Camiller," but the short form really has nothing I can do to it.

*ponders* I suppose I can always dub you "Chevul" (Cheryl) but somehow, the name doesn't seem to fit.
