I was wandering around the BBC site and found this site, which takes on arguments for and against gay marriage. It's an interesting read. In my country, it's been legalized over a decade and I find I'm just used to the idea. And despite what some right-wing Americans hiss about, it has in fact not destroyed the very fabric of our society.

Not that you can convince the likes of Phelps about that. Poor little Phelps. Hate's all he'll ever know. And he'll be forgotten. We should make a little monument to his sorry ass, maybe. I'm sure he would not be amused.

And some news from my frozen little country:
Norwegians on Immigrants - Funny how we're not willing to give up our citizenships, but want immigrants to give up theirs... Tsk.

Hmmm...well, given that I don't know you by sight, being on another continenet and all; I'd probably shriek. If it were Saturday or Sunday morning, I might assume that you were a drunk person who had wandered into my room by accident. Having figured out who you were, I'd proceed to wonder why you came to the US in the first place, how you got into the dorm without a student ID, how you had managed to navigate the large pile of stuff on my floor in the dark, and how you managed to find room on the bed as it's rather narrow and I'm a known sprawler. Having determined the answers to all of these questions, I'd ask if you wanted to acompany me to the dining hall for breakfast. :-)

As I don't know you very well, or by sight, I'd probably ask who you were as I scream my head off. Then, finding out who you were, I'd ask how you got to Hawaii, if there were any other reason you were on the island, how you got into my bed when I have to share with my sister until she gets her room done, and how you got past the deadbolt. (That was FAR too long.) Of course, after all of this happened and sufficiently calmed, I would offer to make you breakfast or share my chocolate with you.

Norway is so beautiful in winter. I love the colours. :)

Hmm... I suspect that after much shrieking from my part and pushing you off my bed I would ask what the heck you were doing here in Finland and in my bed. And if you would deliver me a satisfying response I'd still suspect tyou a stalker and regret friending you. Which I do not want to do. So please, stay out of my bed. :)

Also, I am very jealous of the Northern Lights you get there. Helsinki, I'm afraid, is too south for us to get any of those. :(

Where I currently live is usually to far south for the Northern lights as well, but I grew up in the north, where it was common.
