Put up two little CSI vignettes here, with parts of the snippet I posted in the previous entry. And damn, I want the TV Guide for Feb 27th with the hot CSIs on the cover. Wah, wah, etc.
A little treat for you OFUM-fans - Nine Is As Nine Does (Aka Elrond Rants About Symmetry, An OFUM Class). I'll be writing some various OFUM bits exclusively for http://www.lotrfanfiction.com/, so if you want to read those, keep an eye on the site. (Better yet, sign up.) You'll undoubtedly recognise the theme of this particular bit ;)
I'm going to be featured on that site in an Author of the Month thing sometime later, which brings me to point the third - there'll be one open question spot, so if you have one question, argue for its conclusion - divulge it if you like, but you don't have to. The argument I like the best will win (no matter the question).
Now for more timewasting things...
Ten things I have done that you probably haven't:
1. Been taken in a Norwegian State Limo to school one morning.
2. Bad my breasts groped and referred to as 'tropical size' in the middle of Karl Johan, the main street of Oslo.
3. Hugged Bruce Boxleitner.
4. Appeared on National (Norwegian) TV in red longjohns and pink Minnie Mouse sweater.
5. Fallen out a window when showing my brother I could balance on the ledge.
6. Been called 'Sauron' in a Nigaria scam e-mail.
7. Had a blue-tongued lizard nestle in my hair.
8. Had my father meet one of my best male friends while in his underwear (dad, that is). In the hallway.
9. Had sex on a race track.
10. Been interviewed on Japanese television.
Pairings meme - not too interesting since I currently only do two fandoms. But anyway...
Lord of the Rings:
1. The pairing you first fell in love with: Faramir/Eowyn. My everlasting true true OTP love.
2. The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now: Legolas/Gimli. I loved them as friends. Never really thought I'd love a romantic pairing of the the two, though.
3. The pairing everyone else loves that you don't: Legolas/Aragorn. Sorry, don't see it.
4. The pairing you love that everyone else hates: Gimli/Anyone. Give the Dwarf some love!
5. The pairing you used to love but don't any longer: Beren/Luthien. Theirs is an epic love. Alas, as I grew older, somewhat Sueish qualities of Beren and Luthien became clear to me and the love faded.
CSI:
1. The pairing you first fell in love with: Grissom/Sara, all the way back to season one.
2. The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now: Catherine/Warrick. It's been sneaking up on me like a tiger stalking its prey and bites just as hard.
3. The pairing everyone else loves that you don't: I guess Catherine/Grissom. I don't rapidly hate it as some G/S fans do, but I'm all rather meh about it. Though I have read one great fanfic for said pairing I've now lost the link to. Wah.
4. The pairing you love that everyone else hates: I guess Catherine and Warrick is the one closest to qualify, though it isn't so much hated as more ignored.
5. The pairing you used to love but don't any longer: Aren't really any. I guess the closest would be CSI slash, which I did read some of and now don't. But I only really read it out of curiosity, so.. Eh.
On a more amusing note - Pool gets stolen Which makes me wonder - what's the most mind-blowing thing that you've had stolen?

Date: 2005-02-23 09:20 pm (UTC)THAT I totally remember. Probably one of the strangest and most hilarious things I have witnessed on the intarweb.
But my, you've been through a lot of strange things, haven't you? Blue-tongued lizards and Japanese TV.
Congrats on the Author of the Month bit? I'm unsure as to whether congratulations is the right thing to say, but there doesn't seem to be anything more appropriate. Huh.

I have, however, once accidentally stolen some duct tape from a hospital.
You have the same first true pairing as I do! Faramir/Eówyn all the way! <3
Hee. 'Sauron'. *snortsnigger*

Date: 2005-02-25 11:14 am (UTC)I quite like the C/G relationship, I just don't see it as romantic. But everyone interprets what they see differently, so I try not to hiss at those who disagree with me ;)
