Fanfic Commentary?

Happy birthday, darling brother! Heading over to the parents' later today, to eat good food and cake.
Meme spotted around:
There's been an accident, and my memory's been wiped. I have no recollection of who I am. Tell me about myself. What do you know about me? What kind of person am I? What are my likes and dislikes? How did we meet and how long have we known each other? Is there one thing in particular that stands out about me? Tell me who I am.
Post this in your own LJ to see what people say about you!
I came across an idea in
gehayi's LJ - a DVD commentary for fanfic. Basically, you take a fic you've written and make various comments throughout, explaining things the reader might not pick up or just give various tidnits and what-not. So I was wondering - this anything any of you be interested in for a few of my fics? If so, which ones? And no, I am not doing all of OFUM - nominate chapters if you must.
Also, GIP! I love it when people make me icons... *ogles* And I love BBC, period.

Date: 2005-03-16 07:16 am (UTC)You like hot, hot men (preferably drenched in oil), and really hate Bush (along with many ^_^). (And any pun in there is unintended.)
I've known OF you for several years (three is several....), but I think the first time I spoke to you was maybe two or less years ago. I sent a couple e-mails to you, reporting aweful, aweful fics, and I IM-ed you to talk about mini-balrogs.
You have an awesome snarky sense of humor, and have an air of command that make people who aren't on your side run away from you.

Date: 2005-03-16 08:39 pm (UTC)I remember that much, just the year escaped me... I'd thought it must be before I did Richard III. and I've just realised I came over in June, and RIII was semester 2.
Is it weird that I classify timeframes by what plays I've performed in?

Date: 2005-03-16 08:59 am (UTC)And you think 65 is cold? I wish it would be that warm all of spring break...but meanwhile I'm very happy with a nice mild 28.

Date: 2005-03-16 09:14 am (UTC)The coldest it gets here is 30 degrees, and that happens perhaps once a year in the dead of winter in the middle of the night. And thats when we're all hiding under layers of heated blankets, hoping we don't freeze to death in the night. Spring break is 80 degrees, 75 if we're lucky.

Date: 2005-03-16 12:18 pm (UTC)And why the fondness for the BBC, may I ask?
Re: BBC?
Date: 2005-03-16 01:47 pm (UTC)My fondness for BBC - well, I grew up with a gazillion of their programs. For children, humour, nature documentaries, dramas, crime... I also respect their newsorganisation. All in all, they're just given me a lot of good and educational TV through the years and thus, I feel the love.
Totally Off topic
Date: 2005-03-16 04:35 pm (UTC)Yes, I'm still working on your banners. I've been playing with different stuff but I need more. Can you tell me where I can find some large, hi-resolution photos with G/S and W/C? Thank you.
