How to play:
1. Pick a fandom offered: CSI, LotR, Babylon 5, X-Files, Harry Potter (I know a few more, but I'll restrict it to those because I'm mean).
2. Choose a pairing or characters, and one more specific if you'd like. Examples: Grissom and Sara plant a tree or Kosh talks to a fluffy bunny about coffee.
I am willing to do slash, and any genre within reason. Crossovers are also cool.
3. You can also pick a Wild Card- choose a fandom and I will write a drabble that combines it with one of your interests listed on your LJ profile.
I will bust out a drabble somewhere between 75-150 words for you.

Consider it an Easter egg.

As I'm writing East of the Sun, West of the Moon, I'm constantly on the lookout for good lyrics to start chapters with. So - hit me with some of your favourites, or some you'd think be appropriate or some that just comes to mind for certain characters if you know the fandom. Night at Edoras.

She wakes from her sleep as she often does, her dream one of memories she rather forget. She gets up and throws on a warm cloak, but it is the cold outside that lures her to it.

It is a clear night, autumn falling. Rohan rolls all around her, the grass fading to brown, frost embracing the land. The stars are lit above, the moon as clear as snow. It will be winter soon and she will freeze.

Winter in Rohan, her country, her love. Even now, as despair rise in her, she knows the love will bind her to it, bind her to Edoras.

Beautiful, this cage of hers.
