Cam is a busy writing bee. Yes, she is.

Got a new story called Valhalla's Call here (CSI Forensics) and here (ff.net). Some GSR and CWR implied and I hereby warn all it has Canon character deaths. One-shot.

East of the Sun, West of the Moon has a new chapter here (ff.net) and here. Catherine POV.

I sense major GAFF blow-up, I do. *sniffs air* Maybe that's why I dreamt that Voyager blew up (of the Star Trek series) and Janeway and Chakotay was getting away by carjacking a la Grand Theft Auto. Or maybe I'm just odd.

Funny, haven't really thought about my old, old fandom in a while. Sure was a fandom that taught me some lessons about the wankier side of fandom life, that's for sure.

Meanwhile, for your reading enjoyment, courtesy of GAFF, take a peek at a Sue/Orlando Bloom story you don't wanna miss.

On The Other Side of the Curtain

"You have got to be kidding me Orlando!" She laughed throwing her hands in the air. "Do you honestly believe those Bible reading contests were for nothing? Look at yourself in the mirror, do you think a hot guy like you came from a dirty, flee-infested ape?"

Conversion by Fanfic. Hoo boy.

Dear Goddess. It's not enough for the damned creationists to infiltrate my country's school boards and picket movies; now they're invading fandom.

Then again, what can we expect from fangirls? After all, they're still confused about which sex has the baby.

Credit must go to whoever created the "Mr. Darwin, the stupid people are taking over!" Captain Planet-inspired animated icon that periodically pops up on Fandom_Wank. I'm sorry I don't have a link handy; it must be seen to be appreciated.

...tell me I didn't just read that. Please, *tell* me I didn't just read that.

...

*brain goes splodey!*

RPF, 'Sues, militant Bible belief and attempted conversions all in one fic. Oh, the joys of fanfic. >_<;;;

Poor brain.

Yeah, that thing is like a giftwrapped kinderegg of pain. With ape insults to boot. I like many apes. They're majectic. Shut up, fangirl.

All I can say about that one is "Yikes." I didn't know I could be preached at through fanfic. And by someone who has your/you're issues. I don't think I can comment much more about this, because my brain has melted and is running out my ears, and not in a good way.

I'm sure even God would have certain grammar standards. Not to mention I think he'd be miffed being mentioned in a vechile for Orlando lusting.

Also, because for reasons beyond me I read the bad fic before I read yours, Valhalla's Hall was beautiful. Awsome Job, as per usual.

I suspect the badfic was more entertaining. Though perhaps that one too was sad, in all the wrongs ways.

Thanks :)

I really, really enjoyed Valhalla's Call. I thought it was excellent. You truly are a gifted writer.

Hey, it's not flattery when it's the truth. When are you going to write a novel or something?

And gah, that Orlando thing... ouch. It burns. Burns, I tell you.

Oddly enough, the thing that bugged me the most was that she had the girl stay in the hospital for a few weeks when all she had was a broken leg. They kick you out right after you have something big like heart surgery, these days. *rolls eyes at the abject stupidity*

When someone pays me to.

Maybe it will turn out the Sue is really there because she's tragically, fatally ill and in the end, Orlandos love will save her?

'Miss Ada.' Well, that's a new one. I don't suppose she realises that 'ada' is Elvish for 'father'. Well, we can't all be bilingual, though we can certainly plagiarise uncopyrighted words.

after she did not take their side when her brother, Dave was accused of rape, they disowned her. Completely.

Wow, really? Lucky girl. My family only three-quarters disowned me. Damnit, just sign for the other fourth already so I can be free!

He was so drawn to Ada it was almost frightening.

Yeah, I'm a bit frightened too. Mostly of her proselytising. Can't people ever get past the ape thing? Try ridiculing something new. Single-celled organisms never get the spotlight! And fish, you know. Can't forget the fish stage of our evolution. Best part.

I never could understand one thing. Word processor usually makes spell check as you type, so why are they keeping on making spelling errors? I wish someone would enlighten me.
