So in World Cup happenings, Sweden's out, which is sad. But they didn't play well enough, and Germany deserved it, so I am not feeling bummed, really. Go Germany.

I was bummed Mexico lost to Argentina, though. Poor underdog that fought so well and Argentina that wasn't too impressive. Blah, bollocks. You better beat Argentina in the next match, Germany. I am counting on you.

Today, England - Ecuador and Netherlands - Portugal. I shall cheer for England - unless they play crap - and the best team in the other match. Fair's fair. Give me some lovely football, plz.

So, "Fear Her". I liked, to my own surprise. The script was uneven and the premise had its moment of "Bwhuh?" and gave me strange vibes at times, and the torch-stuff was a bit overdone... But it had an easy-going air I enjoyed, and also, Rose wielded a pickaxe and the Doctor had some great lines and licked his fingers. All good. But the anvils sure were heavy and the teaser for the next episode was a mean tease indeed. That's going to be some evil ride, me thinks. Jackie looks to have a central role - yay Jackie - and they're playing with the Rose-might-die so much I'm thinking she won't.

But we'll see. I'll miss Rose when she goes, anyway. I've liked her. Of course, I might also like the new companion, so I'm keeping an open mind. Strange how fast season two has gone, really. We're already on the last two episode. Eeek. And then the long, long wait and vacation wank, as I like to call it.

CSI fandom is full at vacation wank, of course.

And !lo, when Samuel Jackson made his dictionary, under 'chemistry' he wrote Snickers and scholars were long puzzled:
the finale was the worst....the only thing that kept me from screaming was the fact that i didn't want to wake the kids i was babysitting...i was shocked...gsr has no real chemistry...snickers...well obviously snickers is the dictionary definition of chemistry....everyone is a snickers shipper that i know...well except for alexis....but she's special....and yeah, i like griss too, but he does need to be slapped....hard....

Its like I said GSR is like Monica and Richard on Friends people shipped it said it was the most popular said it would last when it happened but in the end WHO did we get WHO got Married and stayed happily married?? Chandler and Monica which is who I compare Nick and Sara to so I have Faith that GSR will not last and we'll get Snicker in the end

Seeing how I wanted to put the heads of the CSI writers in my front yard just weeks ago, I decided to channel most (but not all) of my rage into a fanfiction. So I did, and I'm still doing so. And I am not converting to 'shipping G-SR! God no. I'd rather marry AOL than do that.

Sarah is a princess of an Earth colony known as Van E Ti that gets picked up because the Doctor likes her hands. However, the Doctor kicks her out after one episode only, as she spends the whole time talking about looks, and that's his job, thank you very much.

Lousie is an old grandmother who comes abroad by accident (involving a semi-trailer and a retirement home), but the Doctor keeps her on because she knits him nice scarves and baffles aliens by asking them to repeat their neferious plots all the time.

Arthur is very proper English laywer who originally came to sue the TARDIS for breaching the peace and ended up discovering his very violent side in a war against delusional fungus aliens. The Doctor eventually leaves Arthur on an alien planet when the latter finally fulfills his dream to become a fighter pilot.

Nancy is picked up at the same time and has a lot of UST with Arthur. She's timid and wee, up until the point where she blows up a planet. She leaves with Arthur and they have very agressive babies together.

Dune is a cat. The Doctor spends their entire five-episode span together being very worried and coughing up furballs (through a throat-Stockholm-syndrome) and is very relieved when Dune falls in love with a Sabretooth tiger and stays for true love.

Tracey is easily bored, and the Doctor takes her along to cure her boredom. Sadly, she finds even Cybermen stick-in-the-metal and Daleks a frightful yawn, so he dumps her into a Florida retirement home of 2145, where she never spends another boring day of her life.

Reg is a comic book fan, and spends an entire episode trying to make the Doctorgo see Superman. The Doctor takes him to see Superalien of Venus instead and conveniently remembers an errand to Mars while Reg is busy and never returns.

He takes them along because that needn't be a bad thing, but then loses them when they fall in love with Hans and Hanz during a trip to old Germany. Their later twin children try to take over the world, but the Doctor stops that by reversing the polarity of the neutrol flow twice over.

I had my first GSR encounter today. I was talking to this guy and someone came up behind him and shot his arm and it hit me, GSR: and all I could think about was Grissom/Sara. The idea of an ambulance never occured to me.

Josefin and Ekwy are two minds in one body, and the Doctor goes across them during an invasion of Gnaghgy on Earth and tries to help. He takes them to many medical experts, but all in vain - it turns out Josefin and Ekwy likes it as it is.

Dory and Malcom are from the same street and keeps fighting. The Doctor is forced to rely on them to repel an attack of giant leaf-men, and takes them along in the hopes that their bickering with be revealed to be Sexual Tension all along. Alas, it turns out to be pure loathing after all, and he leaves both with Freud to work out their issues.
