And the holidays begin...
Dec. 21st, 2004 11:21 pmAm now home-home for Christmas, staying with the parents. Only annoying thing is that the computer here doesn't really take AIM and MSN. Oh well. My broadband was installed at my flat yesterday, which should be good. Though it seems to be acting kinda dodgy and slow. Might be my laptop, though. Bah.
Am hoping to get some writing done while here and perhaps some grieving. I haven't really dealt with the recent loss of my grandfather with everything else that was going on. A bit of silence and peace will be good. For the muse and the knot in my head. I'm one of those people who tend to deal with emotions quietly on my on. It's partly a Norwegian thing, I think. In many ways, we are a solitary breed of people.
Faramir/Éowyn plotbunnies are being quite persistent. My mind is such a fickle thing. It always wants to move onto new things. I really should teach it patience. It could be a New Year's Resolution.
Or maybe not. Fickle minds have the most fun.
