I haven't even seen the TW episode in question, but I now know all about the magical alien pheromone spray and its questionable use already.

What freaks me out about it is not so much the scene itself (honestly, I find it a bit hard to decide with confidence whether an act involving magical brain-altering alien technology would be classified as rape or "only" sexual assault), as the parallels to RL. I assume it was intended to be a parody of those silly deodorant/perfume adverts, but from what I've heard, it seems to come across rather as a similiarity to rapists knocking out their intended victims with rohypnol.

And some of the excuses are really, really scary. "He's just such a bloke." "Women attract men with breast implants, too."
Gaaaaah.

The breastfeeding wank (heh -- wank indeed) is a bit more amusing, though, even if I'm now intimidated by crazy mothers.
Both the breastfeeding brigade and the "you are all pedophiles!" commenter seem to be slightly soft in the head, if you ask me.

I wasn't breast-fed as a baby, and it obviously didn't hurt me.
But that woman's reason for not breast-feeding is quite silly. Oh, the joys of the Internet.

Well, I would think it is remotely possible, given that breastfeeding releases a couple of feel-really-good hormones which aid in mother-baby bonding and those same hormones are majorly responsible for the happiness you feel from falling in love. Of course, that is all I could guess from my undergrad Psych studies; I've never heard of something like that happening (not that it would be something mothers would readily admit to).

Yes, but as someone on that thread pointed out to allow that stimulus to continue to the point of orgasm you have to be 'in that frame of mind', etc. To think you would be so fixated on 'breast = sexual erogenous zone' that you could not divorce yourself from that with your own baby... That's without even going into the fact that the baby feeds in a way that doesn't usually directly stimulate the same areas - since they take the whole nipple and a good chunk of the breast into the mouth, and the sensitive part of the nipple is kind of in mid-air in the mouth (as it were).

I know of countless mothers, mothers-to-be, and those trying/wanting one day, and I've never heard of anyone even CONSIDERING that would happen. Sorry, but it strikes me as deeply, deeply peculiar.
