The PC comment really got me riled, for some reason. Argh. But yeah, "date rape drug" was rather the parallel I saw too, even if the writers didn't intend it.

Ah. Well, it ain't always easy to tell on the Net. Generally, I'd keep the phrase "too PC" weeeeeell away from anything to do with rape. It is a horridly underreported crime for a reason.
