Dec. 24th, 2004 10:11 amGod jul!
What Cam Would Give (25) Selected People Of Her Flist If She Ruled the World:
lotus79 Many male slaves and rule over any part of the world you wanted. Oh, and all of B5 on DVD.
maureenlycaon A brand spanking new computer and a nice, shiny torture chamber.
eldamere Naked rugby. A chain of night clubs called "The Gutter" and hot males to work in them. Oiled.
pennhothwen That trolls really do turn to stone in sunlight.
belegcuthalion A smart Babel fish to help her with her website and fic translating.
jocelyncs No Bush.
millikov A paintball gun and a room full of tied up PAPs.
fondued_jicama The spirit of Ivanova and a Minbari fighting pike.
psychicsaphie The world as your oyster and the education you want a your fingertips.
adora_endymion Not to be torn between friends ever and many slaves to help you with your website. And possibly Elves in Black Leather giving you backrubs, if I'm feeling generous.
pipibluestockin A toad that when kissed, becomes a prince.
pulsarkat Cat shape-shifting abilities.
greyladybast A Satanic snowball fight ;)
elenculda Riddle wrapped in a bow.
kaltia Blair on a leash.
musemistress All the fairs you could ever want and Alan Rickman as your date.
vulgarweed A pet Nazgul.
elvenpiratelady A room in L-space with all the Terry Pratchett books possibly ever written.
nirix5 Executive producer and Goddess power over at CSI.
greencat3 A pet Borg to set on DS9 Sues.
norwegianne The greatest library in the world, which has all the Eurosong entries ever done.
jakie_f All the nightmares you'd want.
sasja_sokolov The world has a revelation about Rush.
ginmar A ticket home.
maererigan A muse that is a true slave to your writing desires and a ticket to Ireland.
I could have done more, but there are so bloody many of you on my flist and my brain hasn't woken up yet. Imagine I gave you something nice and shiny that you wanted if you're not on the list.
I know I'm getting some books and a microwave for Christmas, but there are some mysterious gifts around to. Hmm. I guess I shall find out tonight (we open our gifts on Christmas Rve). But for now, it's almost time for "Tre Nøtter til Askepott" (Three Nuts for Cinderella) as it is every year.
Have a splendid day and much good food and pretty gifts.

Perfect timing, too, as I just found an absolutely HORRID DS9 Sue.
Merry Christmas to all, and feel sorry for those of us in Eastern Standard Time who can't open presents for another 18 hours...

Date: 2004-12-24 02:37 pm (UTC)Dunno, really. Already got main pressie from Luke, cos he's impatient. Mum always tries to get me something good and surprising. (I like not knowing what to expect. Luke's the opposite, which makes shopping for each other agonising. He has one thing that he wants, but I want to surprise him; and I don't want to tell him what to get me, cos it will spoil the surprise, but he doesn't know what to get me because I won't tell him.)
I know my bro's getting me something as well, but not what. I don't even know at this point whether I'll see my Dad. He hasn't called or come over in months. Mum hasn't seen him either, and he usually shows more interest in bro than me.

Date: 2004-12-24 02:40 pm (UTC)On another note -- a snowless Christmas in Norway?! Isn't this a sign of the impending apocalypse?

Date: 2004-12-24 02:57 pm (UTC)But jewellry is usually good. Oh yes.
Funny. I was thinking about what to buy myself from granddad, then I remember he died. He just sent me money. Last two Christmases I bought myself the EEs from him. I was going to this Christmas too.
You aways notice absent family members more at Christmas, eh? I'm sorry about your dad.

Date: 2004-12-24 03:03 pm (UTC)Well, we've had snowless Christmases before, but this is the first I can remember where it's been close to 10 degrees celcius and warm enough that grass have started sprouting again. But of course, in our mythology, the end of the world is supposed to be signalled by really cold, cold winters.
Experts says climate change is partly to blame. *looks pointedly at Bush*
