Cam's Idea of Torturing Herself: Beta-reading a Nick/Sara chapter. I kept having to resist the temptation to replace all Nicks with Grissom. But I managed to get through, even when they were smooching. I'm stronger than I thought. But I guess years of badfic reading has made me stronger in will. Or something. Maybe just blinder. Anyway, that and some goodfic hunting in vain has made me decide I will do an OFU for CSI. Will have to work out details and all that, but it is now sneaked its way onto my To-Do list.

The fanfic appreciation week has made me decide to add a little Fanfic Rec page to my website. There'll be CSI, LotR and HP at least, maybe more. I might make it a little graphic for it and maybe have a little column with general writing advice. I think I've gone graphic addicted of late too. Pretty graphics... Come to mummy...

The infamous Warrick-rapes-Catherine fanfic got updated, and the author has apparently listened to her outraged reviews and changed it into someone else. Joy. Now all I need is to erase the memory of it ever existing from my mind and all shall be fine.

In the news:
Yesterday, a Norwegian citizen in Iraq got the death penalty. This is the first time this has happened and reactions are all different. And of course, the Progress Party has taken the opportunity to show its great care and humanity and have a spokesperson utter "Let him hang."

An OFU for CSI?

Does this mean that there will never be a third installment for OFUM?

Pity! I only say that because it would have been symbolic. Three books, three movies, three stories of OFUM. Like nine walkers for nine wraiths...or something like it.

Will they run along side by side or will you finish OFUM before starting the OFU for CSI?

Speaking of OFU, whatever happened to the OFU for Gundam Wing? The link on your page lead to the Dragonball OFU that is also linked above, the author seemed to have disappeared off of ff.net as well. Not that I mourn it, it was crappy at best and the author himself should have attended an OFU instead of running one.

Well... OFUM3 has never been for certain and OFUM2 has been taking so long that one is enough to handle, really. I just feel I'm repating myself now. However, if there ever is a Hobbit film, I may do a special Hobbit version of OFUM.

I'll probably run OFUM2 and the CSI one at least partly at the same time - but I don't think I'll start the CSI one until the summer. I'll see.

Hmm. It might have vanished, I'll have to see. Must have been a link mix-up. And yeah, not all the OFUs are of great quality, alas. I had one OFU request the other week that made me weep. Oy, the fangirlism...
