I wish I was still active in BsG! I loved the early Mom/Dad stuff. Hell, I wrote them at one point. Maybe I'll find my BsG love again. Still, seeing you (and a few others on my flist) being all over this pairing? Makes me smile.

Mom/Dad is awesome! Even the actors are all over it, especially with what happens in season four. It's too bad you lost your love :( I wasn't happy with everything in the show, but I still love it and think I will for quite some time.

But I know what you mean - there are some things I don't really feel that strongly about any more, but seeing people discover it now and being all enthusiastic about it still makes me smile a little and feel nostalgic.

Well, I know the show in 13, although from the media only. It's one of those things where living abroad, and not being too caught up in television at all (I never remember to turn it on week after week… Love DVDs of series for that reason alone.) result in being behind on so much of Norwegian television culture.

Golden Goal is proper awesome and silly. Lots of funnies about football. It is out on DVD in highlight version as well.

And yeah, you miss a lot when you're not watching the television. I remember that from living in Australia.

I'm glad you posted these - I like the secrets that aren't either "x turns me on" or "if you don't think exactly like me, I judge you." And unfortunately, that's 95% of fandom secrets, so I stopped watching it.

Totally with you on #3. They had fabulous chemistry.

I'm still sad Catherine/Warrick never happened :( It would have been hot like whoa.

Golden Goal is the show. It's Norwegian. A bit like a Norwegian Top Gear for sports, in that they do challenges and crazy stuff inbetween talking funny abour sport things.

I certainly think so about Mr Connery, but other people have looked at me like I'm insane when I've said, so maybe I am weird.

I really liked Faramir and Eowyn too, but Legolas and Gimli caught my eye at 14. Just the friendship and love between them was so lovely, without any sexual elements. (Unless you wanted them.)

I love all the BSG-related ones. ;) For LOTR, I've always been an Aragorn/Arwen 'shipper (I'm boring that way, alas), although I can definitely understand why the Legolas/Gimli 'ship is so popular.

And I could've guessed about 14. I really can sympathize with that. I think you're a better writer now, too, but...I guess I just feel like OFUM brought too many people too much happiness and remarkably enough too many people together, for me not to love and respect it, even beyond its very respectable writing.

But I can't talk. I erased my old stories, my popular ones, because I couldn't really stand them being there...
